Why spend all that time and money hunting for the perfect custom rocker switches for your DuraBrite lights? We asked ourselves the same thing when developing the Gen2 series. That’s why we decided to give the people what they want! And guess what? We didn’t stop there — the new Gen2 also features a slick SOS mode that deserves a switch just as awesome.
So, what did we do? We created a rocker switch series that’s got your back. One switch, two modes: Mode 1 blasts your Gen2 DuraBrite lights at full power, and Mode 2 triggers that all-important SOS signal.
But here’s the best part — the switches are designed to work with our brand-new and all original DuraBrite 2-Channel Control Box. This little box of magic sits between your switches and lights, making everything work like a dream. Our (ON)-OFF-(ON) switch design means it’s a momentary, double throw, triple position switch that snaps back to neutral after you press it (just like an elevator button).
What does that mean for you? You can control your lights effortlessly, whether you’re using the switch or a remote key fob that is paired to the Control Box. They work interchangeably - meaning you can turn on the light using the rocker switch and turn off the light using the keyfob or vice versa.
And because we know you need reliability, the IP66 switch is ready for action in any weather, from -40°C to 85°C. It’s panel mountable, and with a 240W rating (that’s 20A at 12V or 10A at 24V), it’s got the power you need. Ready to make the switch?
Note:
- Panel opening dimension: 0.830" x 1.450"
- Easy wiring - there are only 3 terminals at the back, namely T4, T5, T6. Just connect them respectively to the clearly marked position on the Control Box and you are done.
- To turn on the light, press the top position once. The light will turn on. To turn off the light, press the top position one more time. The light will turn off.
- To turn on the SOS mode, press the bottom position once. The SOS mode will be activated. To cancel the SOS mode, press the bottom position one more time. The SOS mode will be canceled.
